Music. It is a surefire way to either hype you up or calm you down. Depending on the music you choose, it can have a great affect on how you feel. However, it takes time and effort to compile a list of songs that you can have on hand when you need it. That is why I created this relaxation playlist to get you started. Add to it your favorite relaxing songs or remove the songs that don’t give you the feels.

Stress is common challenge in todays life. Almost everyone experiences some sort of stress on a regular basis. Depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders are becoming more common. Listening to relaxing music on a regular basis can help. Music has the ability to activate and influence the emotional and memory centers of our brain. Studies have even shown music to be as effective as medication when treating anxiety. So open that Spotify account and start listening your way to better mental health.
